Thank you for choosing von Becker Consulting LLC for your computer science learning needs. We understand that sometimes plans change, and we’re here to assist you by providing a clear policy on cancellations and refunds.

Cancellations

  • Cancellation of any Service must be requested by the Customer through the Website’s cancellation form, at https://codencounters.com/cancellation/. Cancellation requests will not be accepted verbally or through email or phone.
  • Cancellation of a Service will result in loss of access to any benefits included with the Service.

Refunds

  • To be eligible for the maximum refund, a Customer must Cancel a Service no fewer than 7 days before the scheduled start date of the Service.
  • Cancellation requests submitted within the 7-day period preceding the course start date will be eligible for partial refunds, as addressed below.

Refund Amount

  • If the cancellation occurs more than 7 days before the class start date, the participant is eligible for a full refund minus any applicable administrative fees.
  • If the cancellation occurs between 7 days and 48 hours before the class start date, the participant is eligible for a 50% refund minus any applicable administrative fees.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the class start date are not eligible for a refund.

Administrative Fees

A $25 administrative fee will be deducted from the refund amount for all cancellations, regardless of the timing of the cancellation.

  • Exceptions:

    • In cases of medical emergencies or other extenuating circumstances, participants may request a refund outside of the specified cancellation period. Such requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and supporting documentation may be required.
    • If the organization cancels the class for any reason, participants will receive a full refund without any deduction of administrative fees.
  • Transferability: Participants may transfer their enrollment to a different session of the same class, subject to availability and payment of any price difference between the two sessions. Requests for transfer must be made at least 48 hours before the original class start date.
